ECC 2015 - the 6th Early Career Scientists Conference

ECC 2015 is part of a conference series organized by PhD students and Postdocs from the three Clusters of Excellence Kiel (Future Ocean), Bremen (MARUM) and Hamburg (CliSAP) and associated institutes. The conference aims at bringing together and providing networking opportunities for early career scientists in the fields of Marine and Climate Research.

ECC 2015 is an interdisciplinary and international conference that covers a broad spectrum ranging from natural to social sciences. This year’s focus will be the interplay between Oceans, the Earth system and Human impact facing global change.

We therefore invite all early career scientists working in the field of marine and climate sciences to join us in Kiel to present and discuss research in an interactive and innovative way. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the conference, participants are highly encouraged to present their research in a way that is understandable to a broad audience. Keynote lectures by Prof. Dr. Ute Hentschel-Humeida, Dr. Martina Baum and Prof. Dr. Ralph Schneider complete the scientific program.
